You know how sometimes you think of something that sounds really funny to you, so you start doing it, and pretty soon you realize no one else is paying attention? That’s this blog. Actually, exactly one person regularly looks: Hi, Mom!
Part of the problem with the joke is that it requires people to look in two different places for the same picture with different captions. I should have split screened them. Ah, well. Live and learn.
My family has a method for dealing with jokes that are told but not laughed at: we repeat them, but slower and louder to make sure everyone really has a chance to understand and appreciate them. However, I have decided instead to call off the blogs and continue to post the pictures on flickr. Pictures still get taken and posted, and I don’t get unreasonably annoyed that no one is looking at what I’m doing.
So, go look at pictures, would ya?
No special lens will let you see a way to survive!
The world ends this year. This is a scientific fact shown in the 2009 film 2012. This blog will be a daily photographic document of the destruction of the planet. I can only hope that the server where it resides will somehow survive the destruction so that aliens will know the terror we experienced. Good aliens like E.T. or Mork, not bad aliens like the ones who kidnapped Santa Claus.
This is serious. Super-duper serious.
